I'm a huge believer that every interaction with a potential client is an opportunity to demonstrate the value of your agency.
And most agencies waste a lot of those opportunities.
Things like:
→ The first cold email you send. Are you actually giving them something useful or just asking for 30 minutes of their time?
→ How you respond to an inbound lead. Did you take the time to understand their business before jumping on a call?
→ The first discovery call. Are you spending the entire time pitching your services or helping them think through their problems?
→ The proposal you send. Does it demonstrate that you understand their business and have a real strategy for helping them grow?
→ How you follow up after a sales conversation. Are you continuing to provide value or just asking if they've made a decision?
→ The onboarding experience. Does the client immediately feel like they've hired a team that knows what they're doing?
A lot of these individual interactions aren't going to show up as a measurable marketing conversion.
But they absolutely influence whether someone decides to trust you with their business.
