Most GTM advice you find online is right.

Just not for you.

Every GTM engine goes through different stages.

Most teams try to jump straight to the last one.

Here are the 5 stages, find yours:

1️⃣ Two tools

Small team. Still finding market fit.

→ Codex + lemlist.

A spreadsheet as your CRM is enough. Skip everything else.

2️⃣ Memory

Your team grows. Knowledge lives in people's heads.

You now need to save it in the system.

→ Attio or Breakcold.

Every output lands in the CRM.

Signals expire. History compounds.

3️⃣ Fuel nobody can buy

RevOps arrives to own the data.

→ Claap + Slack. Calls, threads, tickets.

Competitors can buy the same databases.

They can't buy what your prospects told your reps.

4️⃣ The inside job

The most overlooked stage.

→ Clay + FullEnrich.

Clean the CRM first. Dedupe. Verify.

Then mine it: upsells, early churn, a former champion changing jobs, etc.

5️⃣ The final boss

Scoring that understands timing.

→ Clay.

A lead who went silent looks dead.

Until they visit your site twice and meet a colleague at an event.

You don't need the most advanced engine.

You need the right stage.
