Before hiring another account manager, I’d want to know what’s stretching the existing team.

Is it the number of clients? Or the work each account has accumulated?

Unpriced requests. Different processes for every client. Decisions waiting for the founder.

Senior people picking up work because nobody is clear who owns it.

Another hire may be necessary. But it can also make those problems more expensive.

I’d look at what the team can stop, simplify or hand over properly before deciding what role to recruit.
