This morning I woke up to this message from a stranger.

Yesterday, a client told me he finds our conversations incredibly valuable and that my work is the most undervalued in the world of selling on Amazon.

It gave me all the feels. ❤️

In June I started a Substack. My ramblings, twice a week from my little nook off the coast of Peru.

The goal was to share one split test and one case study per week. It’s become so much more.

Today is my 43rd publication.

I started sharing things I find interesting in our work but not in the way most people would think.

📍I share the nerdy parts of the creative process.

📍The behind the scenes learnings with clients.

📍The split testing insights we find. The category trends we see in eCommerce.

📍The iterative process to get to an end result of improved conversion.

📍The false positives and false negatives.

📍The things we ignore intentionally and the things that matter deeply as we are designing.

I also started building tools with AI. At first skills and prompts for readers, then deep data driven playbooks and now actual online saas mini tools that my team, clients and readers can use to improve their listings. It’s a crazy world friends.

My writing is admittedly niche, and nerdy. I feel like I’m in my own little world writing for 2 people that are interested in stuff like this.

I have 10k subscriber now and 68 people have paid for annual subscriptions to what feels my personal work journal.

I assume people know this stuff. I’m not the only one talking about it. So when I woke up to this message from a new paid subscriber it made me remember why I started and why this new format is in fact important.

It’s also become a great way to pause each week and intentionally reflect in order to share our learnings with my team and clients so that everyone can improve.

Anyways, maybe this will be your motivation to start sharing your nerdy musings with the world. You know where to find mine.
