I quit creating content, then spent years talking myself out of starting again.
In my twenties, I made a lot of videos and wrote a lot of blogs. After a year and some change, it started working. Built a business. Millions of people watching my stuff.
Back then, when people asked me how to get started, I’d shrug and say “just do it.”
Then I stopped creating. Disappeared. Got older. More experienced.
And I found out what it feels like on the other side.
I tried to come back multiple times. Talked myself out of it every time. I spent so much time comparing myself to who I used to be. Even though I’m way better now than that version of me. Even though I already had proof I could do it.
The only real difference between the younger me and the stuck me:
He just took action. Even when it was hard. He didn’t wait for permission.
You can’t think your way out of overthinking.
You already know the first step. Take it. Then take another. 🖖🏾🖤
