I don’t usually do behind-the-scenes write-ups, but here’s a quick attempt.

The ecomm bunch at MetricsCart is an unusually curious one. And curious builders are usually the partners brand teams actually want in the trenches with them.

Whether it’s getting a grip on sudden price wars, solving lost Buy Boxes, catching shopper frustration patterns hidden deep in reviews, or stopping ad dollars from burning on out-of-stock SKUs—the friction rarely arrives neatly packaged. It usually hits all at once.

Ash K., Rohan Paul Philip, Krishnapriya R, and our engineering teams spend every day making sure what we build reflects what’s actually happening on the ground. "PMF" sounds a bit too corporate and textbook, but you get what I mean.

It comes down to listening directly to brand teams, sitting with the messy reality, and working through:

- How do we help break the silos between ecomm and cross-functional teams?

- How do we offer something actionable beyond just firing off another alert?

- What insights genuinely matter to the different teams we partner with?

- What are the recurring operational headaches people keep bringing up on Digital Shelf Insider?

The best part of building for #CPG brands, though, is the community.

Almost every ecomm leader I know is genuinely generous with their time and open to hopping on a quick chat to compare notes, listen, and push the industry forward.

It still surprises me that hosting a virtual podcast opened the door to real, lasting connections—a trusted commerce circle I can ping whenever I’m turning over a digital shelf pain point, a technical hurdle, or just swapping notes on common ground, sometimes just marketing stuff and all that AI!

Tagging a few folks who are always just a message away—thank you for being in my corner:
