Another Amazon badge just joined the chat.
Amazon Business is rolling out a new Business Discount badge, and between BSBB, VRP, and tier thresholds, business pricing now has its own alphabet soup.
I put the new badge details next to Seller University’s business pricing guide so the rules live in one place, and you can skip the tab hopping.
Amazon reports that in 2026, B2B sales of products with business pricing grew nearly twice as fast as those without, which is why this one is worth a few minutes.
If your single-unit business price is at least 5% below the validated reference price, the offer automatically earns the badge, shown in red with the savings percentage across search and detail pages.
At 2% below that same reference price, you get strikethrough pricing in search results and on the detail page, even without the badge.
The 4-star rating requirement is gone for this new badge, so rating no longer decides whether a single unit offer qualifies.
A validated reference price must exist on the product for the badge to display, so a good discount alone doesn't guarantee it shows up.
Quantity discounts still work as before: at least 3% off on the first tier plus a 4-star rating still earns the Business Savings Blue Badge.
To set the business price, open Manage All Inventory, click Set next to Business price on the product, enter the number and save, or fill the business price column in the B2B price and inventory flat file if you are updating in bulk.
You already know your product, your margins, and your buyers, so I hope this saves you some time.
