Amazon keeps growing. The team did not grow at all.

DTC has a marketing team, a designer and a paid media budget. Retail has a national account manager and a trade marketing plan.

Amazon has one person. Sometimes half a person. Sometimes nobody with it in their job title.

The channel that generates the most revenue per head gets the least investment per head. That is not a strategy. That is an accident.

Amazon does not demand meetings. It does not send account managers to your office. It does not shout for resource. It just keeps growing.

And because it grows without noise, it gets treated like it works without effort.

It does not. The effort is invisible. The person running it is drowning.

If your Amazon revenue has doubled and your Amazon team has not changed, You just have not noticed yet.
