We’re in mid October, sitting right on the doorstep of peak holiday sales, while Amazon continues ongoing product review purges on brands.

Not two or three days go by where we aren't hearing from another brand watching their reviews get completely wiped, by the hundreds or sometimes thousands.

Some got reduced from hundreds to 2 digits, out of nowhere and often without messaging that even indicates it occurred.

If this just happened to you, look at which bucket you fall into:

The Glitch/ False Positive: A handful of brands saw reviews drop and then quietly restored within days without lifting a finger.

Amazon caught their own mistake? Hard to say, but count blessings.

The Over-Enforcement / Retroactive Purge: Amazon linked a cluster of reviews to a past policy warning or enforcement action (sometimes from a year or two ago) and decided to wipe the slate clean.

The problem is that they didn't just strip dubious reviews, they carpet-bombed all the legitimate ones along with them. Some of those have to get restored!

Do you have a case? Have us take a look.

If you already acknowledged a past violation, accurate or not, it could be too late to reverse it. If you're guilty of reviews abuse, well.. that's that.

Don't just blindly accept policy violations, if you have a dispute case!

If Amazon accepted a past dispute acknowledging that you didn’t violate policy, you have documented proof.

You should be pushing that right back in front of them to get those legitimate reviews restored.

Don't just accept a canned we use automated tools to catch wrongdoing, and see sales rank dive plummet in the thick of Q4.
