Leah McHugh took the stage at the Cross Border Summit in Thailand yesterday to talk about something most Amazon sellers would rather not think about until they have to: compliance.

Specifically, the mistakes that get ASINs restricted, appeals rejected, and accounts suspended.

And if you know Leah, you know she doesn't hold back.

One of the biggest problems we see is sellers waiting until something goes wrong to figure out what Amazon actually requires.

Then they get a policy violation, scramble to find their documentation, copy an appeal template from a Facebook group, or ask ChatGPT to write their way out of it.

We've seen some pretty creative appeals over the years. Unfortunately, creativity isn't what Seller Performance is looking for.

You need to understand why Amazon took action, what evidence they're asking for, and whether your documentation actually supports your case.

That's a lot harder to figure out when your listing is already down and you're losing sales every day.

Great job, Leah. Hopefully a few sellers went home and checked their compliance files.
