I know, next year is a long ways off, and you're laser focused on Q4 now.
But hey, its never too early to start laying groundwork for Q1-2, and Prosper happily falls at the right time of year to make sure you're set for the rest of the year.
In my experience, too many sellers treat industry conferences like a passive spectator sport. Some arrive unprepared, wander the exhibit hall, fall into conversations with Amazon teams or service providers that may or may not move the needle for them -- then wonder later why they didn't get a bigger ROI on the trip.
The real value of being there in Vegas is getting direct access to people who understand how Amazon actually functions behind the curtain, be they current Amazonians, me, or someone with true understanding of the inner workings of it all.
Networking is great, and necessary, but sharing time with other sellers who may have faced a similar situation, or may not have, isn't enough.
Seek out frank, tactical conversations with experts who deal with these realities daily, not people selling snake oil with fake promises attached. I’ll be there as I am each year, and I'm really looking forward to this one. I'm sure Ill be co-hosting another wonderful happy hour, like last year.
