I used Helium 10 for 5 years.
But for the past 3 years I've been waiting for a better tool.
The cost is outrageous. The team does not respond to suggestions. The overall vibe I get from them is they are more concerned about making themselves profit than offering amazing value to Amazon sellers. Maybe due to selling out to a growth equity firm?
It seems like they created new features to justify their price increases.
But no matter how many new features were released, they just seemed disconnected from what Amazon sellers want.
Most people use H10 for:
- Xray
- Keyword tracker
- Cerebro & Magnet
They do not use it for P&L tracking. PPC automation. TikTok. Or Walmart. Personally I use Sellerise for P&L (very detailed down the exact coupon types) and ScaleInsights for PPC rule-based automation.
On H10 if you wanted to run more than 100 ASIN Cerebro searches you need a plan now that's $360/mo - something that a few years ago only cost $59. So most sellers see that their cost went up 6x just to have the features they used everyday get limited.
Then I heard about SoldScope.
A team started by ex-H10 senior engineers.
Base plan is $29/mo ($26 with code EVAN10) and includes tools very similar in layout to Xray, Cerebro, MCP, and Keyword Tracker WITH improvements that sellers have been asking for like: making the keyword tracker more like DataRova with access to SQP and PPC data per keyword. Current and historical trends. Can also take Cerebro and turn it into Master Keyword lists similar to DataDive. Of course there's more but the point is they are laser tuned-in on the features and tools Amazon sellers actually use in every software and are bringing them all into SoldScope with their own improvements based on YOUR feedback.
H10 was a great tool. I hung on for a while to see if it would change. Thankful for what they built but also realize it's time to support the SoldScope team with the value they're providing to Amazon sellers and how responsive they are to building the tool Amazon sellers have been looking for at a reasonable price.
