My Claude launch skill has one flaw: it waits for me.
Launch admin takes days. I’m sure you can relate.
Renaming files.
Chasing assets.
Emailing retailers.
I built a Claude skill for it.
It only runs when I ask.
Then Next Gen Zaps from Zapier changed that.
Next Gen Zaps let you describe a workflow in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor and deploy it to Zapier as it connects to 9,000+ apps.
Set the trigger once. It runs with your laptop closed.
My launch workflow now:
1. New product added to the tracker
2. Packshots pulled from Drive
3. Files renamed with EAN codes
4. Split by retailer, filed to each folder spec
5. AI writes retailer copy, checked against approved claims
6. AI flags missing or off-spec assets
7. Pauses for leadership approval
8. Links go to retailers, tracker updates
Five of eight steps are fixed. AI only writes and checks.
What Next Gen Zaps adds:
→ No 500-item cap. If one retailer's files fail, the rest carry on
→ Repeat AI work becomes fixed steps that use fewer tokens
→ An AI manager agent can fix a broken Zap, like a moved Drive folder
→ Admins control which apps and actions agents can reach
Nothing reaches a retailer until leadership signs off.
The team reviews exceptions, not logistics.
