Sorry to break it to you, but the perfect prompt doesn’t matter anymore.

AI was meant to save us time. Then we started spending ten minutes perfecting a single prompt.

So this is my #1 hack when anyone asks me about AI tips: Stop typing your prompts. Say them. Talking is roughly four times faster.

The tool I use is Wispr Flow. A voice-to-text tool that works in every app, on my laptop and my phone. You press 1 key and you’re off.

And what’s brilliant is that it doesn’t write what you said. It writes what you meant. That’s a double hack.

→ Say Thursday, no, Friday, and it just writes Friday

→ The ums disappear before the text lands

→ Three points spoken arrive as a numbered list

→ ROAS, CPM, PDP, all spelled right

→ Formal in Gmail, casual in Slack

My favourite bit is snippets. My brand context prompt is saved as a voice shortcut. I say brand brief and the whole thing appears.

Emails used to be: draft, paste into ChatGPT to tidy up, paste back. Or click the Copilot or Gemini button. Now I say it and it lands formatted with what I meant to say. No polishing step.

Wispr Flow is free to use, and my link below gets you one month free of Wispr Flow Pro with unlimited words.

Get stuck in and start making your AI productivity more productive.
