Element 5 - September 2026 Roundup πŸ“ˆ

Why: Radical transparency for our products, and also our business.

Headline

β†’ 250,000+ servings shipped (+25% vs August)

β†’ 3.85M total shipped on the road to 100M

The big decision: a 30% price increase

We raised prices across new subscriptions and one-time orders. We expected conversion to drop, and it did: 4.0% β†’ 3.3%.

What happened next is the part that matters:

β†’ Average order value: Β£55 β†’ Β£63

β†’ Units per order: 2.25 β†’ 3.27 (+45%)

β†’ Add-to-cart rate: +5.1%

The higher price didn't hurt buying intent. It improved it. Fewer people checked out, but the average customer bought a lot more.

Two other things pulled conversion down: a stock outage on a bundle freebie, and pausing overspending Meta ads, which cut traffic by 23%.

The price stays.

Subscription first is working

β†’ Subscription share of orders: 70.1% β†’ 78.2% MoM

β†’ New customers choosing to subscribe: 58% β†’ 62.8% MoM

New Product

β†’ 3 prototypes in production for our new luxury pill organiser

Momentum

β†’ Selected as 1 of 11 UK brands for the BREAKOUT Wellness UK accelerator which comes with opportunity to pitch to Holland & Barrett and other key partners, investors.

October focus

β†’ Reduce add-to-cart friction

β†’ Out-of-stock gift back - monitor recovery

β†’ Win back the conversion rate while keeping the new order value intact. (October early signals are strong)

More next month.
