Mark Lathrum just got his agency acquired.
I met him at my first Amazon agency job when I was a young and hungry 22 year old.
Mark is one of the best bosses I ever had.
At 22, having the right mentor in your corner changes the whole trajectory of your career.
Mark fostered an environment that was actually built for learning.
He gave me the room to make mistakes and learn from them.
He gave me the flexibility and freedom to be creative, and to optimize whatever I wanted to try and optimize.
A lot of managers try to box you in early.
Mark trusted me to run.
When you have a great teacher, you listen.
I did, and Im so thankful I did.
Straight Up Growth wouldn't be here today if I hadn't learned from him back then.
Watching him build his agency and now get acquired is so awesome to see.
