We were (again) maybe a bit ahead of the curve!?

Meta launched Muse this month. #1 free app in the US within days.

What caught my eye: the fuzzy little creature.

Meta put a soft, invented character in front of one of the most complex products they've ever shipped.

We made the same bet at Clarisix, a bit ahead of the curve :) Meet Zix -> a small clay creature made of six soft lobes, one for each pillar of Amazon analytics we bring into one view.

Why I think this works? Products like these do their job in the background. You don't see an agent browsing for you. You don't see a P&L reconciling itself. People can't evaluate what they can't see, so what they evaluate is trust. And nothing builds trust faster than a face. An invented one even more: no baggage, it means only what you put into it.

If Meta's growth team and a I land on the same strategy independently, maybe there's something to it 😄

P.S. Zix is not fuzzy. He's clay. We're not that mainstream.
