I've been selling on Amazon since 2003 and I still had to work to untangle this one.
Two federal marketplaces. Same product. Same "TAA compliant" badge. Completely different legal weight behind it.
On GSA Advantage, that badge is a certification a vendor made under a federal contract, with a contracting officer who can debar them if it's false. On Amazon Business, it's a seller checkbox surfaced as a filter.
Neither is the wrong tool. But most agencies aren't choosing between them, they're defaulting to whichever tab is already open. And most manufacturers I talk to don't realize that decision determines whether their product ever gets in front of a federal buyer on anything above a $10K micro-purchase.
That's the whitespace. Compliance certifications on an Amazon Business listing are a moat almost nobody is building on purpose.
