I first met one of my biggest competitors Ryan Burgess as a fan.

When I was starting out in Amazon ads, there was no certification course or formal blog playbook.

You had Facebook groups and YouTube videos, and you had to figure the rest out yourself.

I read everything he put out.

He was breaking down how this stuff actually worked while everyone else was still guessing.

Years later, I actually had the pleasure of working directly with him at Blue Wheel.

Going from studying someone's breakdowns as an early fan to sitting across from them working on accounts was pretty surreal.

Fast forward to today, and we're technically competitors.

We're both in San Diego.

Both growing brands on Amazon.

A lot of agency owners get weird when someone in their backyard is running in the same lane. They get guarded, talk trash, or pretend the other person doesn't exist.

That's never how I do things.

When someone helped pave the path and taught you the game early on, you don't forget it.

Still got nothing but love and respect for you, Ryan.

Glad we're both out here building in San Diego 🚀
