Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds owns their category on Amazon with 60% market share. It's not really close.

But when you're that dominant in one spot, the growth question shifts.

There's not a ton of room left to expand within pistachios so where does the next chapter come from?

So I dug into their product mix and a few things stood out.

Almost half their revenue is coming from just 3 products, and the rest of the portfolio is there but it's not pulling much weight.

Take their to-go packs, a product doing under $100k a month.

When you look at what keywords they actually rank for, it's basically two: a branded term and "plane snacks."

That means the people buying this are already Wonderful Pistachios' fans, but they're not picking up new customers with it.

Which is a shame because this ASIN is perfect for a much bigger conversation.

'Kids snacks', 'healthy on the go options', 'school snacks' are some of the highest traffic searches on Amazon and Wonderful Pistachios is barely showing up there.

Getting this product into the top 3 organically for even one of those terms would move the needle.

Three other things worth doing here:

1. Retargeting repeat buyers with other SKUs through DSP is low hanging fruit. If someone loves the variety pack, serve them an ad for one of the more unique flavors. The repurchase data is already there, it just needs to be used.

2. On content, there's A+ content on the listings but it's not using the full space. Premium A+ with lifestyle imagery, video, and a clearer USP breakdown would make a real difference.

3. Creating an us vs them image comparing Wonderful to a competing snack category could help convert shoppers who aren't even looking for pistachios yet.

When you've maxed out your own category you start pulling from adjacent ones.

Wonderful Pistachios has the brand recognition to do that.

They just need to put a little more energy behind the products that aren't already carrying the load.

Great brand with Lots of room to grow if the focus shifts a bit.
