They have already decided what to do about it.

Amazon does not look at your products the way you do.

You see units sold and revenue.

Amazon sees pick, pack, ship and return costs against every ASIN.

When an item costs Amazon more to sell than it earns, it gets flagged.

Internally they call these ๐—–๐—ฅ๐—ฎ๐—ฃ items. Can't Realise a Profit.

What happens next is quiet.

Amazon reduces its purchase orders.

It stops running deals on that ASIN.

It nudges shoppers toward alternatives.

Eventually it drops the item altogether.

Your POs just shrink. Your units stop selling. You blame the market.

Lowering your price will not help. You need to understand what Amazon sees when it looks at your margin. Packaging size and return rate decide whether your product stays on the shelf.

Most brands never see this view.

They react to symptoms without knowing the cause.

If you have never looked at yours, someone else already has.
