My COO Marco and I have spent A LOT of time together.
We didn't realize it at the time, but we spent about 23 years figuring out how to communicate before we ever worked together.
My COO doesn't have braces anymore.
I still smile with my eyes closed.
We may be bigger.
We may have more responsibilities and even have a few gray hairs.
But every time we've grown, we've grown together.
We went from a tiny company...
...to one that somehow has an intern program.
We went from scheming about our crushes at school...
...to scheming about how to grow Amazon brands.
Building a business is hard.
Getting to build it with people you genuinely love makes it a whole lot easier.
