Hispanic consumers are not a monolith

But most brand research still treats #Hispanic consumers as one audience

In our #QSR Cultural Performance Matrix, we looked deeper 👇

We compared how quick-service restaurant brands perform with U.S.-leaning, bicultural and heritage-leaning Hispanic consumers

When you do that the picture changes fast

⚫ popeyes and Little Caesars Pizza show wide score gaps across acculturation segments

⚫ McDonald's is more consistent

⚫ Domino's’s performs especially well with bicultural consumers

⚫ Dairy Queen leads with U.S.-leaning Hispanic consumers

This is the cultural nuance many brands miss

A composite Hispanic brand preference score can make performance look simpler than it really is

It can hide where a brand is overperforming

Where it is vulnerable

and which cultural signals are actually driving relevance

Lacking that level of granularity, brands often assume they are connecting more broadly than they are

That leads to messages that feel generalized instead of genuinely authentic

QSR is just the example here

The bigger lesson applies across categories:

If you want to grow with Hispanic consumers, you need to understand not just whether you are relevant, but which Hispanic audiences you are relevant with, and why
