Before you build it, make sure it actually works.

Sounds obvious. But a lot of people are skipping this step right now because AI makes building feel fast.

You can spin up an automation, a workflow, an app, a landing page in a fraction of the time it used to take. So the temptation is to just build first and figure out the rest later.

The problem is the build is only 20% of the time. The other 80% is the bugs, the revisions, the integrations, the copy, the edge cases you didn't see coming.

If the underlying process wasn't producing results manually, you just amplified a broken workflow. Faster. With more moving parts.

Prove the thing works first. Then build around it.
