Apple's AirPods Pro just failed a test Amazon doesn't tell you exists 🤭

So did Amazon's own Echo Dot.

Last Wednesday, Amazon retired Rufus.

Most sellers didn't notice.

What they did instead: took Rufus's brain, dropped it into Alexa, and put voice shopping behind every Amazon search bar.

300M shoppers. 600M Alexa devices. Same listings.

Here's what most sellers haven't realised yet:

âś… Bullets sell. Attributes answer.

When a shopper asks Alexa "how long is the battery life," it doesn't scan your bullets for the number. It pulls it from the structured attribute field — the little Seller Central box most brands leave blank.

I tested it on Apple AirPods Pro. Grade F. 8 out of 30 voice queries answered. Alexa literally couldn't tell a shopper the battery life.

I tested it on Amazon's own Echo Dot. Grade F. 11 out of 30.

If Apple and Amazon can't get this right, your brand probably can't either — and shoppers are starting to ask Alexa right now.

So I built a an audit tool that runs on any listing on amazon

Paste any ASIN. It scores it against 30 real voice queries an Alexa shopper would ask in your category. Shows you what Alexa would actually say back, word for word. Plus the 3 structured attributes losing you the most points.

Free. No card. No call.
