This is what I’m working on with Helm. Not just another MCP you plug into Claude

This is what I’m working on with Helm.
Not just another MCP you plug into Claude or ChatGPT.
I’m building Helm into a knowledge-working agent with a harness made specifically for agents.
That harness is the important part.
Because connecting tools is one thing.
Getting the agent to know what to do with those tools is where the real value starts.
The goal is for Helm to understand:
What tool to call.
When to call it.
What context matters.
How to interpret the output.
And how to stay on task without drifting.
I was working through the install and a few use cases with Michael Maher yesterday, and while we were on the call, he caught an issue with one of his clients.
That is the kind of thing I want Helm to make easier.
Not just “chat with your data.”
More like:
Know the brand setup.
Reference the right backups.
Follow the right instructions.
Benchmark against the right data.
And surface the issues before they turn into bigger problems.
There will still be troubleshooting. That is part of building anything useful.
But this is the direction I’m pushing Helm.
A knowledge worker for Amazon operators that knows the brand, knows the workflow, and knows which lever to pull.
