Just shipped something I’m fired up about: SmartScout now talks to AI agents.
Built an MCP-first adapter that wraps SmartScout's API into a universal schema any agent can consume.
The focus this time: MCP as the backbone.
Two ways to use it:
1. MCP Server (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)
Drop it into Claude Desktop or your MCP client and just ask:
- "Who are the top brands in the electrolyte category?"
- "Show me market share breakdown for this niche"
- "Analyze this seller’s portfolio and revenue mix"
- "What brands are gaining share right now?"
Clean, structured outputs — brand data, seller insights, category intelligence — all through MCP.
2. OpenClaw Skill (or any custom agent layer)
Text your agent:
- "Run a brand analysis on protein powder"
- "Break down this competitor’s catalog"
- "Find high-revenue sellers in this niche"
Same underlying MCP server — just a different interface layer.
The key:
Instead of building separate integrations for every AI platform, this is built MCP-first.
One adapter → multiple clients
Claude, ChatGPT, OpenClaw, custom agents — same data, same capabilities.
This is where things get interesting.
The Vision:
Your agent doesn’t just pull data — it understands the market , this is possible with Helm.
- Map out category leaders
- Identify rising brands
- Analyze seller portfolios
- Spot shifts in market share
Then feed that into downstream workflows (strategy, creative, listings, etc.)
No rip-and-replace.
Just plug into your existing stack or Helm.
This becomes the extra intelligence layer between Amazon data → AI execution.
