A lot of Amazon sellers say:

“People are clicking my listing, but I’m not getting sales.”

That’s the gap between traffic and conversions 👀➡️💰

Here’s the difference:

🚦 Traffic

This is how many shoppers see or click your listing.

You get traffic from:

- Ads

- Keywords & SEO

- External traffic (socials, influencers, etc.)

Traffic = attention.

🛒 Conversions

This is how many of those shoppers actually buy.

Conversions happen when shoppers:

- Understand the product fast

- Trust your brand

- Feel confident hitting “Add to Cart”

Conversions = results.

The mistake we see all the time:

Sellers focus on driving more traffic…

But the listing isn’t built to convert that traffic.

High traffic + weak listing = wasted ad spend

What actually improves conversions:

- Clear, scroll-stopping listing images

- Visual storytelling (not just product photos)

- Benefits > features

- Addressing buyer objections upfront

More traffic doesn’t fix a conversion problem.

A better listing does.
