That order matters more than any portfolio I could show you.
Because I remember the feeling:
โ Product is good. Reviews are good. โ PPC is running. Traffic is there. โ Sales are... fine. Not great. Fine.
And I remember hiring a designer who sent back images that looked beautiful and changed absolutely nothing.
Because they'd never sold anything on Amazon. They designed for the mood board. I needed images that answered the question every shopper has in 3 seconds: "๐ธ๐ฉ๐บ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ช๐ด ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฆ?"
So I learned to do it myself. Then other sellers asked me to do theirs. That became Preach Your Brand.
Today I only design one thing: Amazon listings that convert. Main image, gallery, A+, Brand Story. Nothing else.
If you've ever paid for "pretty" and gotten nothing for it, you know why I'm particular about this.
