Not all streaming platforms are created equal when it comes to connecting with #multicultural audiences.

And if you're a brand advertiser trying to grow with Hispanics, Black, Asian and White consumers - that difference is material.

Using the Collage Group platform, I scored major streaming platforms on a simple 2x2:

Cultural Fluency

→ A platform’s ability to authentically reflect and connect with the values and lived experiences of diverse audiences. (White, Hispanic, Asian, Black)

Momentum

→ Whether those audiences believe the platform is rising, steady, or falling behind vs. the category.

What emerged was clear:

Some platforms like YouTube, Netflix and Tubi are BOTH culturally fluent and gaining momentum with diverse audiences.

Others have scale, but weaker cultural connection.

And a few are struggling on both fronts.

‼️ Why this matters:

Multicultural audiences drive the majority of U.S. population growth. They over-index on streaming consumption. They disproportionately shape mainstream culture.

⚫ If you’re a BRAND optimizing only on reach and CPM, you may be missing the environments where cultural resonance - and brand impact - is actually compounding.

⚫ If you’re a STREAMING PLATFORM that's out-performing all others on cultural resonance and momentum, you're missing out on one heck of a differentiator to highlight in your sales pitches 😊

Facts sell ads. And DIFFERENTIATED facts sell better.
