Hannah opens Amazon and searches "cold brew coffee maker."

1,000+ results appear instantly.

She scrolls, thinking: "Wow, so many options. Which one actually works?"

Clicks the first result. $89. "That seems expensive for what it is."

Scrolls to reviews. 4.2 stars. "Not bad, but what are people complaining about?"

Reads a 1-star review: "Broken after two weeks." Her brain: "Red flag."

Goes back to search. Spots "Amazon's Choice" badge. "That has to mean something, right?"

Clicks it. $45. "Much better price." Swipes through photos. "This one looks sleek."

But then she notices: "Only 10 reviews vs. 50 on the first one."

Her internal debate: "Do I trust the established product or the Amazon pick?"

Opens three more tabs. Compares dimensions to see if it fits in her fridge.

Reads reviews specifically mentioning "easy to clean" because she hates dishes.

Finally spots one with 4.8 stars, 100+ reviews, $53, and Prime next-day delivery.

The clincher? A customer photo showing the actual coffee it makes.

Clicks "Add to Cart" after 12 minutes of analysis.

Here's what most sellers miss:

Your customer made 47 micro-decisions before buying.

They filtered by price, then by social proof, then by convenience.

They imagined using your product in their daily routine.

They looked for reasons NOT to buy just as much as reasons TO buy.

Many brands think winning on Amazon is about having the best product.

But really, it's about understanding every moment in that 12-minute journey.

Because if you don't show up at the right moment with the right message, someone else will.

What's the biggest blind spot you see brands missing in their customer journey?
