🚨 On Amazon, beauty shoppers are buying one of two things:
👉 A solution to a problem (acne, dryness, dullness)
👉 A feeling (confidence, radiance, luxury)
And your main image has to show it.
A plain jar.
A lonely tube.
A bottle floating in white space.
❌ None of that cuts it.
Yet that’s exactly how most beauty brands show up on Amazon.
Here’s the problem with that:
Customers can’t feel results through screens.
If your main image only shows packaging, it’s not giving them a reason to click.
So instead of just showing the product, we showed the experience.
✅ JIYU → led with TikTok social proof and a texture close-up so shoppers feel the payoff
✅ Depology → hero’d the hydrogel eye patches with a luxe serum splash + macro glow—efficacy at a glance
✅ Nakey → made the problem/solution the headline (“for razor bumps”) and staged calming botanicals to signal relief
When shoppers can see themselves in the experience, they:
✨ Imagine their skin transforming
✨ Feel the relaxation washing over them
✨ Picture their self-care ritual
That’s what wins the click — and the conversion.
Your packaging might tell them what it is.
Your main image needs to show them how it feels.
Don’t make them guess. Show them. Make them believe it.
