$25k was saved by avoiding a banana-flavored supplement flop. PickFu testing revealed consumer dislike, leading to a switch to raspberry. Always test before committing.

I just saved a client from a mistake.

A mistake that would’ve cost $25k+.

How?
⤷ PickFu.

They sell supplements.
They wanted creative feedback.
I gave it.

And then - it took a turn.

“The gummies will be banana flavored.”

Uhh - okay?

“We already have the order in. No good?”

Ehh. Banana? Really?

{Insert here the 15 minute discussion about the benefits of potassium mixed with the flavor to compliment it.}

Just run the PickFu.
→ Please?

Don’t trust me.
Don’t trust yourself.
Trust the consumer.

And sure enough against other comps currently on Amazon against their “potassium-enriched” banana supplement - dead last.

And I quote..

“Banana makes me feel like I’m a baby.”
“Not really the flavor that makes me say yum.”

Right then on the Zoom - they cancelled the production and swapped to raspberry flavored.

Different doesn’t always mean $$$.
Sometimes it means losing $$$.

TLDR;
Save the cash.
Run the test.
ABT - always be testing.

PickFu for the win today.
⤷ What’s gonna top this tomorrow?

PS - Banana flavored anything makes me grossed out. Even banana flavored bananas.

What’s one flavor that’s a no-go for you?
