No, you're not paying for a person when investing in #Amazon's Vendor Service (AVS) ❌

Instead, you're paying for a service that secures access to your Vendor Manager.

What many brands don't realise is that without AVS, your team will struggle to:

- Plan seasonal orders

- Escalate process defects

- Reactivate suppressed products

- Improve operational efficiencies

- Lead top-to-tops and business reviews

The list goes on.

Vendor Managers aren’t equipped with the operational tools to drive your growth. Their role is to negotiate funding and manage the commercial relationship.

So if you want a better return on investment from AVS, you need to put in the work:

- Negotiate clear service level agreements

- Maintain a shared task list with owners and deadlines

- Define the tasks critical to growing your business

- Tie investments to a 48-hour response time

– Schedule quarterly check-ins with the AVS Team Lead

Yes, you may occasionally get a CSM who falls short of expectations. But pulling the plug on AVS is rarely a good decision.
