Amazon’s New FBM Order Handling Limits—Good or Bad for Sellers? 🤔Days ago, Amazon dropped a surprise update that could automatically cap the number of FMB orders you can handle daily based on your past performance.Starting February 24, 2025, Amazon will set a minimum order handling threshold for you, recalculating it weekly. If your recent sales volume drops, so will your capacity limit. You can manually increase the limit, but if your orders surge and you can’t keep up, Amazon will push your estimated delivery date out by a day to avoid late shipments.💡 Is this a win for sellers, or just another system taking control of our operations? Why this might actually be a good thing• Quality Over Quantity – Sure, selling more is great. But if higher sales lead to delays, bad reviews, and penalties, it’s better to scale sustainably instead of chasing volume.• Protects Your Metrics – Late shipments = account health risks. This might help sellers avoid penalties from an unexpected surge in orders.• Flexibility – You can increase your limit manually, so if you actually have the capacity, you won’t be restricted. What to watch out for⚠️ Amazon is making decisions for you. Their “conservative estimate” could limit your growth if they underestimate your actual capabilities.⚠️ Premium Shipping & SFP Orders Not Included. If you rely on faster shipping methods, this won’t impact you… but it also won’t protect you from sudden spikes.⚠️ Will this affect Buy Box eligibility? If Amazon prioritizes faster delivery promises, could this impact visibility for sellers with lower thresholds? At the end of the day, scaling should be intentional—more sales are great, but only if you can fulfill them without risking your account health. So, if you’re ramping up for peak season or launching new products, make sure you manually adjust your handling limits before Amazon does it for you. What’s your take on this update? Does this help sellers, or is it another way Amazon is taking control? 👇hashtag#AmazonSellers hashtag#AmazonFBM hashtag#OrderHandling hashtag#SellerSuccess
