How can you fix your main image to become a best seller? 🥇This week I saw a great post from Dorian Gorski in which he showcased that using a taller main image can positively impact your CTR because of how main images show up on the Amazon app. In this video, I'm going to prove that Dorian's right & also show how best sellers are matching their main image to their keyword targets to be best sellers. One of these is a brand that the FordeBaker team & I have worked on & made a best seller by following this practice. Before we do that, let's look at Amazon main product image requirements:1. Accurately represent the product 2. Have a pure white background 3. Show the product as 85% of the image Dorian's comment about tall makes so much sense. If you're not using above, you're wasting it. Then, all images accurately represent the product you're selling. Ok- that's interesting. Accurately represent the product you are selling. To me, that suggests that your main image should match your keyword target & title. Now let's move on to the 3 examples of best sellers that are doing this to prove that. 1. First up, dots for spots - Beauty Category The title says 'Pack of 24' - this is clear from the main image & it's tall. 2. Second up TePe Interdental Brush - Health & Personal Care CategoryThe title says '8 pack' - the brush is shown inside the packaging & also includes a detailed zoom of 1 of these & it's tall. 3. Saving the best to last - it's RSPB fat balls for wild birdsThis is a best seller, because customers can see the box, 50 fat balls inside & what the fat balls look like. Takeaway: Match your main image to your product. Amazon likes relevance, so be relevant. Have I proven my point? I do of course work for FordeBaker. This is just one example of what we're doing to make our brands best sellers. Follow our LinkedIn page for more of the ways we're doing this for our brands.
