Amazon was supposed to be a stop along the way. Turns out, building at Amazon has been the experience of a lifetime.
10 years ago today, I joined Amazon after starting & selling my startup. I wanted to see what the big leagues looked like, learn a few things, then start something new. Figured I’d stay a couple years max.
But I found that (really truly) Amazon's a place for builders. I've been fortunate to start new businesses, collaborate with entrepreneurs & early stage AI initiatives, & invest in dozens of startups. Now, I'm part of Amazon's creator studio, working with Oprah, LeBron James, the Kelce Brothers, & a whole lot of great humans.
I've built cool stuff, learned from people who made me better, & grown in ways I couldn't have imagined. Along the way, my incredible wife Emily & I welcomed three beautiful kiddos, bought our first home, & built our life together. A lot to be grateful for.
So is this the part where I announce I'm starting my next chapter? Hell no. This, my friends, is a recruiting post...
