Before you spend another dollar on GEO, read your customer service emails.

The questions holding up a purchase belong on your AI-search prompt list.

Say you sell backpacks. A shopper asks:

“Will this fit under an airline seat AND hold a 16-inch laptop?”

I'd turn that into a prompt to test: “Best underseat backpack for a 16-inch laptop.”

That's a specific shopper with a specific reason to buy. Here's how I'd decide whether to target it.

1. Keep the details customers give you.

Pull questions from sales conversations, support emails and product Q&As. Keep the budget, use case and limitations. Those details tell you who you're trying to reach.

2. Check that your product actually fits.

For that backpack, I'd need dimensions, laptop capacity and evidence for the airline fit. If I can't support the answer, I wouldn't spend money chasing that prompt.

3. See what AI recommends today.

Run the question across engines more than once. Read the answers and the pages they cite. Identify the product information or proof your site is missing.

4. Fix the page and check what happens.

Answer the buying question with specs, comparisons and genuine reviews. Recheck the AI answers. Track relevant enquiries and sales from the traffic you can identify.

This is where our new technology, Auden, comes into play. It saves the full answers across AI engines so our team can check what they say about your brand. Our engineers make the site changes and we check the answers again.
