LinkedIn doesn’t know what it wants.

One minute more content. Next minute?

❌ AI slop button

❌ Barely show content to followers

❌ Supremely low impressions

They have a button for reporting AI slop - but it seems like nothing gets done about it & those AI “comment this for that” pages still keep on trucking.

How would that make the average contributor to the platform feel?

You show up.

You follow best practice.

You don’t shove AI slop out there.

162 impressions.

Bro, what? This isn’t normal.

I had to take a moment to “touch grass”.

→ And the moment hit me.

I was reached out to directly in a DM - likely from the content I’ve been posting that’s hyper valuable but getting meh impressions - by someone big.

A major AI lab.

⤷ Call setup for next week already.

Moral of the story:

Impressions don’t pay bills.

Engagement doesn’t fill the gas tank.

Just be yourself.

You can’t lose.
