BTR Media × Claude × Amazon × Nexus | Deal-performance tracking as promos rotate to new products every week across a catalog of over 100,000 variations!! 🚀 A lot of advertisers / agencies are still tracking & reporting data through spreadsheets. We wired Claude into the data instead - here’s what I built, and why it matters heading into Q4:

How it works

🔸 Using Claude + MCP (Model Context Protocol), Claude connects directly to our Amazon data warehouse (Nexus) and the ad platforms (read-only, no exports, no copy-paste). I describe the metric or the data sets I need, Claude queries the live source, runs the math, and renders a client-ready dashboard (or spits out what inputs it needs for proper creation). The one I finalized today - deal reporting down to the individual ASIN.

📅 Seasonal

🔸 Q4 is a different animal... deal cadence is heavy and discounted products rotate every 2 weeks. This splits on-deal vs full-price instantly, so I can tell whether a dip is deal mix or real demand in real time.

📈 Ads

🔸Every deal view carries ad sales + TACOS alongside total sales, by classification, product type, and ASIN. I can see which discounted products pull efficiently vs lean on spend, and reallocate before the next deal window

🤝 Client-facing

🔸 This client gets a live, interactive view on-deal performance, lift, and ASIN-level detail for every window.

Something that would've taken me hours previously, I can turn around in under an hour with proper prompting and Discount logs by ASIN / date of discount across a MASSIVE catalog. How cool is that?!
