Your customers can discover your products through ChatGPT, purchase on Amazon, and never visit your website.
Imagine a shopper asking: “Which bag fits under the seat on a Delta flight?”
ChatGPT recommends your bag and cites an independent review. The shopper searches for it on Amazon and buys it there.
One purchase. Zero visits to your website.
If you measure AI’s contribution only through referral traffic, that entire path goes uncounted.
For brands selling on Amazon, this matters. A shopper can arrive already knowing which product they want because AI helped them choose it.
Your marketing needs to account for how they made that choice.
Start with the questions shoppers ask before buying. Check which products get recommended, what information appears in the answers, and which pages get cited.
If competing products keep appearing, those answers give you somewhere to start: the product details, comparisons and supporting evidence your brand needs to make available.
That’s the work we do with Auden.
We test buyer questions across AI engines, examine the answers and cited sources, and identify gaps in your content and technical setup. Our team makes the changes and tests those questions again to see whether recommendations improve.
The goal is to get your product considered while the shopper is deciding what to buy, wherever they eventually purchase.
DM me “AUDEN” and we’ll show you which brands AI recommends in your category and where we’d start improving your presence.
