Breaking🚨: bing now shows which topics earn your site AI citations, and where you're missing opportunities.

it's called Topic Portfolio, a new beta tab inside Bing Webmaster Tools.

i haven't seen many people talking about it yet.

so i connected Claude Code + looot and went looking for gold.

ayautomate.com got 305.2K citations from Microsoft Copilots and partners over the last 3 months.

but where are we missing out?

here's the workflow i built:

1) find the gaps in Bing

→ open Bing Webmaster Tools → AI Performance → Topic Portfolio

→ pick a topic. ours had 1.5K citations under B2B Services

→ see the grounding queries already bringing us citations

→ check the opportunity queries Bing suggests

→ download the queries relevant to our business

2) test them with Claude Code + looot

→ turn each query into questions a buyer would actually ask

→ use Cloro through looot to test them across ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Google AI Mode

→ check whether our domain appears in the answer's sources

one test run cost $0.0048.

the answer mentioned ayautomate.com, but didn't cite our website.

being mentioned and being cited are two different things.

3) turn the gaps into content

→ pull the top results for the same query on Google, Bing and Brave

→ read the leading page with Jina Reader

→ map its headline, proof, comparisons and FAQs

→ ask Claude Code to draft a page that answers the question better

→ review it before publishing

→ test the same prompts again one week later

Bing gives us the topics and opportunities.

Claude Code + looot help us research them and decide what to build next.

we already track where we rank in search.

now we're checking whether AI answers actually cite us too.

go grab them
