A tool brand sells drills.
Then drill bits, batteries, other tools, and every accessory that goes with the drill.
Each one works with the others, and that's the point. The battery fits every tool in the line, so the next purchase is already decided. In a category like tools, people are loyal.
Once they find something they like, they stick with it.
So every extension to the line is another sale to a buyer you already have.

You won't build a strong brand or Amazon business with just one item. Those days are gone.
If you're just starting a new brand, think ahead about how you will develop the product mix.
If you're looking for more ways to add revenue to successful items, look at adding more variants (sizes, colors, flavors, etc.)
