CEO.
20 units. An account-wide headache.
Solo Amazon Operator.
⠀
Clean account.
No previous flags.
No history of issues.
⠀
We lowered the price to clear the last 20 units of a product my client owns and manufactures.
⠀
Then Amazon flagged the account over concerns about potentially stolen or illegally sourced inventory being sold below market value.
⠀
We made the product.
Apparently, that needed explaining.
⠀
Now we’re working through account verification.
Who we are. What we do. Contracts and business records.
⠀
Then comes the product documentation.
Then shipping records.
⠀
All because we wanted to clear 20 units off the shelf.
⠀
A small inventory decision turned into a much bigger operational job.
⠀
This is why I don’t treat a clean account as an account that needs no attention.
⠀
The history can be perfect.
You still need the paperwork ready and someone responsible for working through the next request.
⠀
Being right doesn’t close the case.
Following through is still the job.
