🚨 ATTN: LinkedIn Connections. Especially Amazon peeps. I NEED YOUR HELP
Recently I was perusing my old posts on here, and I noticed something.
I promoted SlackBrain, I promoted BotSight, I promoted GEO services, I promoted SkillVault.
I imagine this could look like the equivalent of someone who moves from job to job. 😬 Yeesh.
The truth is, I get ideas I want to build, or I see gaps in my own world, and try to fill them...but a lot of them just don't work out.
- the Slack app didn't
- the Excel add-ons didn't
- the desktop app didn't
- the agency service didn't
- the SaaS hasn't
I give them a few months and if they don't get any traction, time to cut and run.
(*sidenote, I may be starting to question the quality of my ideas...lol)
Anyway, a LOT of my contacts on here are from the Amazon world. I know I've pretty much all but abandoned you guys. To be honest, I just walked away entirely after my brands failed (I don't think I'm cut out for running a physical products business).
I stopped building and advising because I know how important it is to Amazon sellers and service providers that the people giving them advice be IN the business. Since I didn't have boots on the ground anymore, I felt like my expertise was slipping -- optimization rules changed, I was never good at PPC anyway, and Amazon's own terms changed dramatically.
However, for awhile I worked for a fairly big ecommerce company who ran like seventeen Amazon accounts. That wasn't my main job, but it was adjacent enough for some overlap.
And more recently I've been working with some Amazon agencies.
And I've had ideas on things to build again, based on what I saw was needed in THOSE companies.
But I don't want to make the same mistake I did before, and build into the void. Instead I am asking you all if my ideas sound good.
📢SO. THIS POST IS ASKING FOR SOME HELP.📢
Two ideas I am toying with. I wonder if anyone would be honestly interested in either/both.
1. A fully autonomous, always on (24/7) Amazon Virtual Assistant agent. Custom per business, it will do whatever you need a VA to do. For sellers, this would mean an Amazon assistant that can work 24/7. For VA's, you could potentially automate a lot of your work.
I Googled but couldn't find anyone offering this service. Maybe you guys already do this with someone else. Maybe you build your own. I'm curious if having one built for you would be of interest.
2. Small, fine-tuned models. I'm working on fine-tuning a small model (no GPU required) that can optimize listings. This would also be custom, because the fine-tuning would come from data in a specific category. Hopefully the end result is a really capable optimizer, since in my experience, LLMs are typically AWFUL at writing copy or suggesting imagery.
I truly appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this and provide feedback.
