💃🏻 When Heroes Need No Capes 💁🏻♀️ Howard G. Buffett, the middle son of billionaire Warren Buffett and head of the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, has become one of Ukraine's largest private philanthropic donors. 🙏
Through his foundation, he has contributed over $1.4 billion (with projections approaching $1.5 billion) since Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022, starting with roughly $150 million in 2022 and over $300 million each subsequent year.
The funds have gone toward critical humanitarian and recovery efforts, including: Millions of meals and food assistance (totaling over 450 million meals); Agricultural support and machinery for farmers; Demining equipment and land clearance; Medical care and critical infrastructure.
