Good progress gives us confidence in what comes next.
Our third-quarter performance reinforces my confidence in the direction of IFF. We delivered $1.9 billion in sales, with comparable currency-neutral sales growth of 5% and adjusted operating EBITDA growth of 6%. We also generated $371 million in free cash flow through the first nine months of the year, increasing $245 million year-over-year, as we continue to focus on cash generation.
We are creating a more focused IFF around our core businesses of Taste, Scent and Health & Biosciences, bringing together leading science, creativity and innovation that make us distinctive. Our purpose is to anticipate changing consumer needs, look to nature for inspiration and unlock new innovations that help our customers grow while making life better for people and planet.
