I made one AI agent assign my other AI some homework to complete while I was sleeping.

Let me break down the workflow.

Step one: I was talking nonstop to Instinct about everything on my list - drafting, prioritizing, strategizing. Deep in the weeds and I was on a roll and didn’t want to switch products.

Step two: Before I went to bed, I knew I needed a more powerful AI system to actually execute and build. So I had Instinct create a massive prompt for Codex to review and complete the entire to-do list and then email that prompt to me.

Step three: And hey why not, then I had Instinct write the prompt for Codex to search my email and find the long note Instinct left for it. Instinct even included an entire AI-to-human handoff process in its prompt email.

Aka Instinct assigned Codex work.

Want the prompt?

Basically: “hey instinct, I know we just talked a lot over text. But I need an executor and I’m pulling in the big guns. So I’m going to have codex execute on everything it possibly can on this list. Please go ahead and create a perfect prompt for codex to read that will allow codex to execute on this entire list in a way aligned to my goals, values, and style. Send it to me in an email. Review the entire list against our conversation to make sure you didn't miss anything. If I've given any signals of prioritization or concerns or motivations, pass that through as well. Not only do I want you to email this entire list to me, but I then need you to write the prompt that I give to codex that tells it to go check my email and execute on the list from you. It’ll run while I’m sleeping so keep that in mind for data permissions. Then I’ll review in the morning. Cool? Any questions?”

I want AI to make the first 30min of my day the easiest possible vision-setting and triaging ever.

If you’re deep in one AI tool, remember you can transfer it pretty easily somewhere else.
