CEO.
Right price. 7 weeks offline.
Solo Amazon Operator.
⠀
My client manufactures the product.
Same price on their website.
Same price across the marketplace.
⠀
Amazon still flagged the price and stopped sales.
⠀
A lot of cash tied up in inventory.
Lost sales every day.
For 7 weeks.
⠀
Lowering the price wasn’t a workable fix. It would create problems across the rest of the business.
⠀
And supplier invoices?
We manufacture the product. We don’t invoice ourselves.
⠀
So we had to work through proving a price that was already consistent.
⠀
Unfair? Yes.
Still our problem to resolve? Absolutely.
⠀
We kept working through it until we were back up and selling.
⠀
That didn’t recover the sales we lost.
It stopped the loss from continuing.
⠀
This is the unsexy part of running Amazon.
⠀
No new campaign. No clever growth hack.
Just staying on a problem until the business can move again.
