Same campaigns. Same keywords. 27% higher conversion rate. The difference?

Amazon's inbuilt audiences.

We compared the performance of traffic reached through inbuilt audiences against traffic outside those audiences, all within the same campaigns.

Here's what we found:

- CTR: 1.2x higher

- CVR: 1.3x higher

- ACOS: 19% lower

- ROAS: 1.2x higher

No new keyword targeting strategy. No separate audience campaigns.

Just an additional layer of shopper intelligence within existing campaigns.

Here's how it works:

- Traditional keyword bidding focuses on what the shopper is searching for.

- Audience modifiers add another signal: Who is actually searching?

- Amazon already knows which shoppers recently engaged with your products, added items to their carts, purchased from your brand, or demonstrated interest in your category.

Inbuilt audiences allow advertisers to use those signals to adjust bids when these shoppers are eligible to see an ad.

That's the difference between Single Signal Advertising and Multi Signal Advertising.

One considers the search. The other considers both the search and the shopper.

Our data shows why this additional layer is worth paying attention to.

And the best part? You can apply it to campaigns you're already running.
